Aqui, o tempo parou em Abril de 1986, quando a central nuclear explodiu, e estas imagens retratam essa vida de esperança curta numa terra castigada pelo esquecimento.

The villages around Chernobyl are among the worst places in the world to live, with soil and water contaminated by the invisible and painless venom of radiation that has shrouded itself as dust and misery. Here, time stopped in April 1986, when the nuclear power plant exploded, and these images portray this life of short hope in a land punished by oblivion.
